These PROS & CONS are researched and developed by the LWV California Education Fund. They are an unbiased presentation of the measures on the statewide election ballot. The Pros & Cons are also published in the Easy Voter Guide, available from the LWVWCCC and on the web http://ca.lwv.org/lwvc/edfund/elections/2005nov/pc/index.html. The League does not judge the merits of the arguments or guarantee their validity. Arguments come from many sources and are not limited to those found in the state ballot pamphlet.

Although the Pros & Cons are unbiased descriptions, the California LWV does make recommendations on ballot propositions and they are available at the web site, http://ca.lwv.org/lwvc/issues/index.html. These recommendations are detailed and include consideration of the background, description of the proposal, its expected fiscal effect, a list of the supporters and opponents and explanation of the League's position

The LWV does not take positions on candidates or political parties.
